Mike and I are going to visit our family in Northern California this weekend and we are very excited to go. Living in San Diego has given us a small disadvantage though, we are used to warmth, even in winter it is not that cold here. Okay it can get cold but not very often, so we have packed our winter coats and boots and we are prepared for the worst. The reason for this post is because my sister called and left a message on our phone to let us know it will be cold up there and bring warm clothes. She had to warn us because for the last few weeks we have had 80 degree weather and yes it is now November. I for one love fall and winter they are my two favorite seasons, that is one of the things I miss about living up there, I get really excited when it rains down here and I call Mike all happy just to let him know how excited I am. I know some people would call it Crazy but it reminds me of home and I love it.

Erik just found your blog - how fun! I'm glad to see that you're getting out in the cold. When I wake up and it is 3 degrees I feel so sorry for you people living with such warm, beautiful weather. I'm teasing, but it was good to find you guys!
